Dear Parents:
We are in the third month of second term. February 28 is the last day of the term and reports are due by March 5. By far the majority of our parents send the reports on time each term and we are very thankful to have such diligent, faithful, and timely parents!
However, there are a few reports that do not get sent in each term. We will be notifying those families who have neglected to send reports that the reports are required for continued enrollment in TOPS.
*Missing one term receives an email notice.
*Missing two terms receives an Inactive Status.
*Missing three terms means Dismissal.

Estamos en el tercer mes del segundo trimestre. El 27 de marzo es el último día del término. Con mucho la mayoría de nuestros padres envían los informes a tiempo cada período y estamos muy agradecidos de tener padres tan diligentes, fieles y oportunos!
Sin embargo, hay algunos informes que no se envían en cada término. Notificaremos a las familias que han omitido enviar informes de que los informes son necesarios para la inscripción continua en TOPS.
* Falta un término recibe un aviso por correo electrónico.
* Falta dos términos recibe un estado inactivo.
* Falta de tres términos significa despido.
ANNUAL MEASURE OF ACADMIC PROGRESS (MAP) TESTING – April and May
I realize it is still a long way from our annual Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) testing but we must plan ahead. Some of our families paid for the annual testing at enrollment. Others elected to pay in the month before testing. The testing fee will be due no later than March 30. The fee of $50 will be added to March tuition charge. Families that self-pay should remember to add the testing fee March’s tuition payment. We will send reminder notices during February and March.
All U.S. students in grades 3-12 are required to take this annual testing. Exceptions: students with an IEP stating that such testing is not recommended; high school students taking PSAT, SAT, ACT exams (must show proof).
Students in grades 1 and 2 may take the exam upon parent’s request to the school office.
(International students are not required to take this exam)

May 9, 10, 11
Make-up date: May 17
MEDIDA ANUAL DEL PROGRESO ACADMICO (MAP) PRUEBAS – Abril y Mayo
Me doy cuenta de que todavía está muy lejos de nuestra prueba anual de Medición del Progreso Académico (MAP), pero debemos planear con anticipación. Algunas de nuestras familias pagaron las pruebas anuales en la inscripción. Otros optaron por pagar en el mes previo a la prueba. El costo de la prueba se pagará a más tardar el 30 de marzo. La cuota de $ 50 se agregará a la tasa de matrícula de marzo. Las familias que se pagan por sí mismos deben recordar agregar el pago de matrícula de la cuota de prueba de marzo. Enviaremos avisos de recordatorio durante febrero y marzo.
Todos los estudiantes estadounidenses de los grados 3 a 12 deben tomar esta prueba anual. Excepciones: estudiantes con un IEP indicando que tales pruebas no son recomendadas; Estudiantes de secundaria que toman exámenes PSAT, SAT, ACT (deben mostrar pruebas).
