The Oaks Private School is a K-12 Christian based, distance learning private school which serves students who choose to study in a home environment. We accept students throughout the United States and several countries. The school offices are located in Hamilton County, Florida. TOPS was opened in 2007 and graduated its first senior class in 2008. The Oaks Private School is registered with and recognized by the Florida Department of Education.
The Oaks Private School is accredited through Cognia/AdvancED, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Higher Learning Commission (NCA HLC), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Accreditation (FCCPSA), National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC). All of these agencies are approved by the US Department of Education. FCCPSA is a premier accrediting agency listed among only fourteen agencies on the Florida Department of Education website. The Committee of College Registrars of Florida has recognized FCCPSA as an approved accrediting body.

True education should be a lifelong pursuit that incorporates the essential elements of learning blended with individualized academic planning, creative freedom, and the development of such character traits as personal integrity, honesty, self-discipline, and respect for others.
