GRADUATION SEASON
At The Oaks Private School, every student is working according to their own personal school calendar. Since enrollment is open all year-round, some students complete in November, others in February, in March …. Any month of the year.
However, May and June are the traditional graduation months for most student in the USA and we have many students who are graduating now. Congratulations and a job well done are sent to each student. You have worked long and hard to earn your diploma and deserve every honor for doing such a good job.
We – and your family – are very proud of you!
TEMPORADA DE GRADUACION
En The Oaks Private School, todos los estudiantes trabajan de acuerdo con su propio calendario escolar personal. Dado que la inscripción está abierta todo el año, algunos estudiantes completan en noviembre, otros en febrero, en marzo … Cualquier mes del año.
Sin embargo, mayo y junio son los meses tradicionales de graduación para la mayoría de los estudiantes en los EE. Y tenemos muchos estudiantes que se están graduando ahora. Felicitaciones y un trabajo bien hecho se envían a cada estudiante. Has trabajado mucho y duro para obtener tu diploma y mereces todo el honor por hacer un buen trabajo.

MAP TEST MAKE-UP DAY – JUNE 11
For students who were unable to test during the scheduled weeks of testing, there will be one day of testing on June 11, starting at 9am their local time.
We will contact everyone with instruction the weekend before June 11. If you did not schedule your child and wish to have testing done now, please call the office to have him/her added to the schedule.
STAR PLAN
Strategies and Techniques for Academic Reinforcement (STAR) is a plan that will be sent to each student who scored below 50% on any area of the MAP Test. The plan consists of supplemental study suggestions for strengthening the skills where your child scored low. It is definitely NOT a punishment! Please encourage your child to work with the suggestions for 10-15 minutes a couple of times a week. The extra time should not replace the regular lessons for the day. In December, your child will be re-tested only in the areas that were included in the plan.
DÍA DE MAQUILLAJE DE PRUEBA DE MAPAS – 11 DE JUNIO
Para los estudiantes que no pudieron realizar la prueba durante las semanas programadas de la prueba, habrá un día de prueba el 11 de junio, a partir de las 9 a.m. de su hora local.
Nos comunicaremos con todos con instrucción el fin de semana anterior al 11 de junio. Si no programó a su hijo y desea que se realicen las pruebas ahora, llame a la oficina para que lo agreguen al programa.
Plan estrella
Estrategias y técnicas para el refuerzo académico (STAR, por sus siglas en inglés) es un plan que se enviará a cada estudiante que obtuvo un puntaje inferior al 50% en cualquier área de la prueba MAP. El plan consiste en sugerencias de estudio complementarias para fortalecer las habilidades en las que su hijo obtuvo un puntaje bajo. ¡Definitivamente NO es un castigo! Por favor anime a su hijo a trabajar con las sugerencias de 10 a 15 minutos un par de veces a la semana. El tiempo extra no debe reemplazar las lecciones regulares del día. En diciembre, se volverá a examinar a su hijo solo en las áreas que se incluyeron en el plan.
